One of our Association objectives is to support the School in financial and practical ways. We already fund the School Minibus and we have engaged the Head to suggest other projects we could assist with. One such project has now been identified.
The OBA Committee have been approached to support and assist with a proposed 'Wellbeing Garden' in the School grounds. The idea is that an unloved corner of the campus is transformed to a green oasis for pupils and staff to use. The Headmaster is actively supporting the idea and Mr Swaffer, Maths Teacher, has started the process to design the garden.
The OBA has been invited to support this - financially, practically - and the Committee is keen so to do. We invite Old Bordenians to contact us if you believe you can provide practical support - perhaps through connections who can provide materials, plants or to donate to a specific fundraising objective for the Garden.
